The quality of consumer goods was checked by NCE employees
Качество товаров народного потребления проверили сотрудники НЦЭ 17.05.2023

Since the beginning of this year, the laboratories of the National Center of Expertise have examined 116 samples of consumer goods, including children's toys, household chemicals, building materials, perfumes and cosmetics, products made from synthetic and artificial fabrics, leather, and so on.

NCE specialists conducted 1,612 studies, during which non-compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards was found in 145 samples.

During the examination of children's toys, 338 laboratory tests were performed, of which 37 turned out to be inappropriate.

319 studies were conducted on household chemicals, of which 5 were non-compliant. Of the positive ones, it is noted by the hydrogen index, the mass fraction of active chlorine and by labeling.

311 studies were conducted on perfumery and cosmetic products, and inconsistencies were identified in 4 of them.

147 studies were carried out on products made of synthetic and artificial fabrics and leather (children's clothing, children's shoes and other materials and products), of which 31 did not meet the standards.

It should be noted that most of the discrepancies relate to product labeling. According to NCE specialists, packaging labeling must contain information such as the name of the product, date of manufacture, expiration date, storage conditions, product composition, information about the manufacturer. This information is important to consumers to help them make informed decisions about the purchase and use of products and to ensure the safety and quality of products.
